Why we built this

Skype spent twenty years as the default way to call phones abroad. Then it was shut down. The alternatives that remained all share the same problems: apps to install, subscriptions to manage, and pricing hidden behind paywalls.

Tokly exists to fix that. It runs entirely in your browser, with no download and no account required just to see a rate. You type a number, the per-minute price appears immediately, and you decide whether to call.

What we believe

• Pricing should be visible upfront. You see the per-minute rate before you dial. No bundles, no tiers, no fine print.
• Credits belong to you. What you top up stays in your account until you use it. Credits don't expire and there's no monthly subscription.
• Simple means simple. A tab in your browser is all you need. Nothing to install, update, or configure.
• Privacy by default. We collect only what's needed to run the service. No advertising, no data resale. Call recording is opt-in only.

How Tokly works

Calls are routed over a professional telecommunications network with global reach, the same infrastructure that powers enterprise voice services. Your browser connects over an encrypted WebRTC channel; the call is then bridged to the public phone network and delivered to any landline or mobile worldwide.

We cover 230+ countries. Rates vary by destination and are shown in real time. The first call is always free, and no card is required.
